Mother's day Project with the kidz

Hello everyone

My grandkids are hooked on crafts...lol..what can I say, they are exposed to all granny's antics all the time....

Well, today we spent some time scrapping... This is what they came up with...i must admit, had my hand in a little bit, but placement of paper embellishments etc are all of their own doing.

Its a challenge for my to stand by and watch them stick down the papers n stuff skew....but i have to bite my  tongue and allow them the Kreative freedom....

Carte Bella double paged spread

Hello everyone

Last week I attended a scrapbook class at RSE who is one of our local suppliers here in Cape Town.

It was really nice to be on the other side of the table for a change..lol...thanks to Debbie Greef for the lovely relaxing yet constructive morning.

I changed my page slightly from the original design by Glenda Viljoen. I added glossy accents and Stickles Star Dust dry glitter to my title, added the Sizzix flourish Floral with leaves die and tied some seam binding to the one strip of card on the right hand side page.

Hope you are inspired to take out your stash and scrap a page or two.

12x12 vintage inspired scrapbook page

Hi everyone!

Happy Sunday...we celebrated freedom day yesterday, but since the holiday was on a saturday...it didn't feel like a public holiday at all.

I spent the whole day cleaning my scrap room, chatting to my brother on face time and scrapping.

I had such a wonderful day.....just bliss spending time in my krafty kave....lol

These are my husbands parents, whom I unfortunately didn't get to meet, but we recently received a few pictures from a family member so i decided to scrap a picture as a birthday gift for my SIL

Congratulations card

Hello fellow crafters

Sorry I have been AWOL for a while....had my brother visiting and generally daily life taking over from the love of my card making and scrapbooks. Although I Did make a full mini album during the last few weeks...if i pluck up the courage, will load the video clip i took...its just that I sound absolutely awful on video....so if I can overcome this then I will load...lol..

My neighbour recently landed a new job, so in lieu of congratulating him...i decided to send him a card.

I used. Penny Black stamp. I don't have the stamp number, cause I stamped it out at our stamping friend Amanda's house.

Hope you like... I coloured the image with a combination of Spectrum Noir Pens and Pro Markers..

RSA 11th Birthday Bash 10 minute card Dash

Hello everyone

Wow...what a great day spent with my crafting friends on Saturday...we had some retail therapy, some eating, gossiping and of course we did some crafting...

As part of our celebrations, i decided to 'spice' things up a bit with a surprise 10 minute card making dash.... Put together a stash of off cuts, embellishments and off we went.

Gee whizz....10 minutes flies by when you Re choosing, designing and putting together a card!

Anyway suffice to say...everyone made a gorgeous card...even our carding newbies...but most of all...we had a huge laugh!

Here is my creation...i just about managed to stamp the butterfly....its a bit skew...but who has time to measure with only 10 minutes...lol...

I will hopefully be able to download the other cards later and will add them to facebook and my blog.
